Tea-tree/Melaleuca alternifolia

Tea tree is a small tree, growing between 5 – 7 meters high. It naturally forms impenetrable thickets. It has narrow, soft, alternate leaves and yellowish flowers in the shape of bottle brushes.
Therapeutic properties: Tea Tree has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral, anti-parasitic, cicatrisant, decongestant, expectorant, fungicidal, immune stimulant, parasiticide, sudorific and vulnerary properties.
